- The scalability of functional controls via Ethernet and Internet (microWeb)
- A single web-based tool, easy to learn and intuitively to operate (microX.commander) for both microNet and microWeb

o microNet Electronic Datasheet (mEDS) based on the IEEE 1451 standard
o microX.driver, including the microNet protocol and the API.
